Our Lake Como, City of Milan and Bergamo Italy Visit: Day 6

Our sixth day in Italy was a vibrant blend of relaxed shopping and captivating city exploration in Milan. We roamed upscale streets like Via della Spiga and Corso Venezia, enjoyed a historic tram ride, and soaked in the charm of landmark sites like Piazza Duomo. Our day culminated with a delightful dinner in Navigli, perfectly showcasing Milan’s lively spirit.

Varenna

Arrive at Varenna Ferry station in the morning. Just opposite see Hotel Olivedo and restaurant – nice for picture. It is an elegant small hotel in Art Nouveau style, charming and romantic. Continue South along the lakeshore on Via Imbarcadero and then on Largo Enzo Venini – an arched walkway called The Lovers’ Promenade or Passeggiata degli innamorati which offers plenty of photo opportunities of the lake and surroundings.
